Jon Stewart Rants About Super Tuesday's Television Coverage-What's With The Rotating 3D Pie Charts And All The Endless Graphics?
The high tech stuff is fine but in my opinion, CNN and the network channels covering the primaries are just overdoing it! Don't get me wrong. I understand that all that "expert" analysis and all the gadgetry and space-age stuff is intended to offer a more thorough dissection of the whole process. But in trying to explain what's going on to the viewers, the so-called experts and pundits sometimes crank out pure, unadulterated jibberish. Overdone hogwash. Numbers and estimates only understood by some secret society of political pundits. And all the techno stuff--flying 3-D pie charts, color-coded graphics, multi-screen set-ups --that looks like the holo deck of the Enterprise. Its the 21st century and I am aware of that most days. But I still think they are going overboard. To me, there is definitely beauty in simplicity. Simplicity dammit!

Should Google Worry? Kanye West Has A Search Engine.
Is Kanye West the new Google? Not quite, but thanks to his latest venture he's definitely one step closer to omnipotent global domination.
Say hello to Koogle (not the real moniker, but shouldn't it be? The official name is the-less-than titillating "Search With Kanye West"), the Murakami-loving Louis Vuitton Don's newly launched search engine, powered by Google and Ask. Here's the Kanyetastic part of the new site: using his search tool can earn you Swag Bucks, a sort of digital currency that can be redeemed for merch like autographed albums, turntables, gift cards and iPhones.
Ironically enough, this announcement comes just after he released several pages from his new advice book, Thank You and You're Welcome, one of which included the phrase "Be Leery of the Free Gift Bag." Should we be worried? Perhaps, but I'm too busy searching to care -- only 2498 more Swag Bucks 'till a free Coachella ticket!

SourceBarackula: Obama The Vampire Slayer
During the most expensive presidential campaign in history, when some of the candidates are dropping more than $1 million a day on TV ads, you really have to wonder if that old saying about any publicity being good publicity still applies.
Take the upcoming movie "Barackula — The Musical," for instance. Sort of like the instant Web hit Will.I.Am video/song "Yes We Can," the political horror film by first-time director Mike Lawson (Bootleg Bandy from "American Pie Presents Band Camp," among other credits) uses Obama's own inspiring words as its source material.
Only "Barackula — The Musical" uses them to tell the fictional story of a young Barack Obama fighting off vampires at his alma mater, Harvard Law School. Currently in post-production and slated to debut online within the next few weeks, "Barackula" is described by Lawson as a "short political horror rock musical about young Barack Obama having to stave off a secret society of vampires at Harvard when he was inducted into presidency at the Harvard Law Review in 1990."
In the flick, the vampire-fighting Obama, played by newcomer Justin Sherman ("The Man Who Couldn't") struggles to persuade the Ivy League vampire society that "opposing political philosophies can coexist or else the society may transform Obama to the dark side." Oh, and along the way you get to see some dancing Harvard student vampires.

SalesGenie Apologizes For Super Bowl XLII Commercials Deemed Offensive
The sponsor of two commercials during Super Bowl XLII for Salesgenie.com, which drew complaints from viewers because of the characters’ ethnic accents, says he is sorry and promises to stop running one of them.
Vinod Gupta, the chairman and chief executive of InfoUSA in Omaha, the parent of Salesgenie.com, said in a telephone interview Tuesday that a commercial featuring two animated pandas speaking with what were intended as Chinese accents would be withdrawn.
We never thought anyone would be offended,” said Mr. Gupta, who developed and wrote both commercials himself.
"The pandas are Chinese,” he said. “They don’t speak German.”
Still, “if I offended anybody,” Mr. Gupta said, “believe me, I apologize.”
Mr. Gupta said he planned to keep running the other Salesgenie commercial, featuring an animated salesman named Ramesh who speaks with an Indian or other South Asian accent.

Sarah Silverman "I'm F*cking Matt Damon" on Jimmy Kimmel
Aol Video Blog
The Videologist
"Don't have a Valentine's Day gift for your boyfriend, husband or partner? Here's an idea -- do what Sarah Silverman did. To congratulate her boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel for his show's 5th year anniversary, Sarah made a special 'confessional' music tribute starring none other than the Sexiest Man Alive Matt Damon -- you heard it from them: Sarah is 'f*cking' Matt! Now, as many of you know, Damon and Kimmel have been adversaries for a while now -- Kimmel is known for cutting Damon's appearances on his show with the usual 'Apologies to Matt Damon. We ran out of time.' And you probably remember when Matt Damon flipped out on the show. Well, we're glad to see he finally got his revenge. Make sure you stick around till the end of the clip to see Kimmel's reaction -- it's classic."

Huffington Post Helps Launch Wiki of D%@ks (Dicks)
By Sonia Zjawinski

Wired Blog Network
Tom Brady lost the Super Bowl last night and according to a new Wiki site, he's a dicks Launched by 23/6, an IAC and Huffington Post collab, Dickipedia takes aim at some of today's most revered and infamous celebs.
Designed to look just like Wikipedia's layout, albeit with a slogan that reads, "a wiki of dicks," Dickipedia gives you the type of insight you won't find on the former site. Big names that get the dick treatment include Lance Armstrong, Kanye West, and even Santa Claus.
Each post begins with a generic introduction that introduces the person's name, what they're known for, and then their regrettable title of dick. "Tom Edward Patrick Brady, Jr. (born August 3, 1977) is a football player, future Hall of Famer, insufferable golden boy, and a dick."
They then continue to go through the person's past and present, with numerous opportunities to explain their dickness. The posts are often laugh out loud funny (can the person who coined lol be added to Dickipedia please?), as is the case with Sean Penn's bio.
Sean Penn’s personal life began to attract media attention with his marriage to Madonna in 1985. Madonna dedicated her album True Blue to Penn, referring to him in the liner notes as “the coolest guy in the universe.” Penn celebrated this by pleading guilty to domestic assault charges. The two divorced in 1986. The marriage produced no children and one film, Shanghai Surprise, of which neither partner wanted to claim custody.Who do you want added to Dickipedia?
