Banned Adverts: A Nun and a Priest, the Pope Drinking Beer with a Blonde and Angelina's Violent Ad
A provocative ice cream advert for Gelato Italiano which showed a priest and a nun in a 'seductive pose' was banned in Italy after readers complained that it was offensive...The promotional material, which appeared in two magazines, was intended to portray the "forbidden Italian temptations" that the Gelato Italiano ice cream represents.

The Club Fire nightclub in Ipswich, England put out this flier to promote a night called Berserk. The daring flier showing the late Pope John Paul II holding a bottle of beer and dancing with a blonde woman has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority.

A television advert for the Angelina Jolie action film Wanted, also starring James McAvoy, was banned in England after the industry watchdog ruled it could glamorize violence. Angelina glamorizing violence in a video ad? Really? Given the chance, the woman would glamorize a bucket filled with shit and spit. Duh!
