Witches of East End's Jenna Dewan Tatum In Nothing but Reptilian Body Paint for PETA

Witches of East End star Jenna Dewan Tatum posed in snake colored body paint for PETA about 3 years ago (I'm a tad late to the party. I know) to bring to the fore the plight of reptilians and exotic animals who are skinned alive or clobbered to death for...well their skin. These poor animals oftentimes are left writhing in pain sometimes for days before they finally die on their own.
While I'm not a PETA uber fanatic, that practice is kinda WTFcuky to me. At least put the animal to a quick death so that it does not suffer unnecessarily. What is the point of leaving the reptiles alive? Seriously. What is the point? Source

These are human meat packages from PETA. The animal rights group's guerrilla methods sometimes get on my nerves. What about you?

'Dancing With the Stars' Joanna Krupa's Nude PETA Ad Angers Catholics, Delights Heathens

PETA plays the "shock and awe' (or is it awe and shock?) game again and this time around it is the Catholic League that is crying foul while it sheds bitter tears of blood. Thing is, Joanna Krupa was recruited by PETA to be the latest "shock you"! anti-fur celebrity in "Be An Angel for Animals" campaign ad where the Playboy model appears naked but for a large crucifix covering strategic parts of her body. The Catholic League thinks the photos are blasphemous because, they mess with crucifixes and angels and all that nice collection of Catholic religious symbolism.

Hey girl: Where did you pick up that cross? Did you go Black Friday shopping?!

Watch Joanna's behind-the-scenes video from
her sexy PETA photo shoot, and find out why
animal rights is so important to her.

Lydia Guevara, Che Guevara's Granddaughter Goes Naked for PETA

The AP says: "The granddaughter of Cuban revolutionary leader Ernesto "Che" Guevara is at the forefront of another revolution — for vegetarianism.

Lydia Guevara poses semi-nude in a PETA campaign that tells viewers to "join the vegetarian revolution," said PETA spokesman Michael McGraw.

The print campaign is expected to debut in October in magazines and posters, McGraw said. It will be launched first in Argentina, where Che Guevara was born, and then internationally. PETA approached the 24-year-old in recent months after finding out she was a vegetarian, McGraw said.

In the ad, Lydia Guevara wears camouflage pants, a red beret, and bandoliers of baby carrots while standing with one fist on her hip and the other outstretched.

"It very much evokes the tag line of the ad, which is 'Join the vegetarian revolution,'" McGraw said. "It's an homage of sorts to her late grandfather."

Che Guevara was a Marxist leader who played a pivotal role in Fidel Castro's rise to power in Cuba. He was executed in Bolivia in 1967.

The ad is PETA's first campaign promoting vegetarianism in South America.

"We say the best way to save animals is not to eat them," McGraw said."

PETA's Overtly Sexual Ad for the Super Bowl Banned by NBC

PETA is getting raunchy on me. This overtly sexual ad submitted by the animal rights organization to NBC to be aired during the upcoming Super Bowl, got banned because it was considered to be too damn racy.

Michael McGraw, spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), notes:

"Lingerie-clad women caressing broccoli spears, enjoying an odd asparagus moment, and kissing a pumpkin are too racy for Super Bowl audiences, says NBC. The network has benched PETA's new TV ad launch promoting vegetarian foods -- a campaign PETA had commissioned specifically for the big game."
